The Full Day Cape Winelands Gourmet Delights Tour will only be done on a Private Tour basis for individuals or small groups (no more than 10). The rates will include the wine and food pairing fees at the 3 wineries mentioned as well as lunch (choice of starter and a main course OR a main course and a desert), one large bottle of still or sparkling water and a warm drink of choice. All alcoholic drinks during lunch will be for your own account. All our tours are accompanied by a Cape Wine Academy educated guide. Our first stop of the day will be at the Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate where you will enjoy a wine and food pairing in their modern wine tasting centre. During the winter months you will be close to the crackling fireplace while during summer you will be able to tickle your taste buds in the air-conditioned tasting room and enjoy the view of the majestic mountains outside. Grande Provence offers luxury accommodation, a restaurant and an art gallery. This historic, yet modern estate with its beautiful garden and buildings is chosen by many as the ideal wedding venue in Franschhoek. Our next stop will be at the beautiful Moreson Wine Estate. Moreson’s Chacuterie and Wine Tasting is their own twist on novel wine tasting. Stretch out at the Farm Grocer bar counter while you sample a range of Moreson wines, each individually paired with Neil Jewell’s mouth watering yummy homemade Chacuterie. The Moreson wine estate is also home to the Bread and Wine Restaurant. You are also welcome to enquire about hosting your Franschhoek wedding for max of 80 guests at this beautiful estate. By now it should be time for a spot of lunch. We will have a light lunch at one of the wine estates which will then be followed by a wine and cheese tasting. At the Vrede en Lust Estate we will have our final tasting of the day. At Cotage Fromage (the restaurant on the estate) we will indulge in a cheese and wine tasting with some truly amazing and unusual cheeses. Here Jean Pierre and his team will take good care of us and you will leave in no doubt that you have just experienced one of the rare pleasures in life. Vrede en Lust also offers a luxury guesthouse and is probably one of the leading wedding venues within the Cape Winelands. Time permitting we can briefly stop at the Huguenot Fine Chocolate Factory.
