 DAY 1

Today you arrive in the second oldest town in South Africa, Stellenbosch (also the capital of the Cape Winelands).
Enjoy a stroll down the oak lined streets of this historic town and appreciate the mixture of old and modern architecture.
As you are in the heart of the wine country why not enjoy a glass (or two) of South Africa’s finest over a light lunch?
Have dinner at Tokara Wine Estate set high up on the Helshoogte Mountain Pass with amazing sunsets and views of Table Mountain.
Overnight at Batavia Boutique Hotel in the centre of town OR at Summerwood Guest House in a tree lined area about 20 minutes stroll from the town centre.

 DAY 2

Start your day with a full breakfast before going on a full day Private Tour of the Cape Winelands.
Tantalize your taste buds with a chocolate and wine paring, olive and wine tasting and of course a cheese and wine tasting.
Lunch at the Laborie Restaurant on the Laborie Wine Estate with its true Cape Dutch character set on the slopes of the Paarl Mountain overlooking the beautiful Paarl valley.
Later tonight have a light dinner at the famous Fishmonger Restaurant in the heart of Stellenbosch. Fishmonger has, amongst other things, the best Sushi in South Africa.
For those not too keen on seafood, why not try out the Wijnhuis Restaurant for food to suite all palates.

 DAY 3

Today you will arrive in the Gourmet Capital of South Africa, Franschhoek.
You are spoilt for choice with some of the best restaurants in South Africa and some of the Top 100 restaurants in the world literally within 500 meters from each other.
Perhaps you can enjoy a light lunch at the well known Rueben’s Restaurant and for dinner why not visit Le Quartier Français, one of the Top 50 restaurants in the world.

 DAY 4

Take the scenic drive to Grabouw and taste wine at Paul Cluver Wine Estate.
After a taste of Paul Cluver’s wines, make your way to the village of Hermanus, the whale capital of South Africa, where you can experience the best land based whale watching in the world.
Experience nature while watching these majestic mammals of our oceans move gracefully.
Enjoy dinner at Harbour Rock Restaurant with amazing views over Walker Bay and Hermanus. Enjoy their gourmet delights with a bottle of fine wine from the Hemel en Aarde Valley.
Overnight at Ocean Eleven OR Auberge Provence both offering amazing views.

 DAY 5

Blow the whales a kiss and take the N2 Highway past the vast open planes of canola, sheep and wheat.
En Route you are sure to spot South Africa’s national bird, the Blue Crane.
Upon arrival in the third oldest town of South Africa you are free to enjoy a light lunch and visit to the Drostdy Museum to get a taste of the roll this little town played in years gone by.
Then dust off the small town blues and take a short, scenic drive to Mardouw Country House, situated on an Olive and Wine Estate next to an amazing mountain range.
Go for a stroll around the estate or practice your golf swing on their driving range or just relax next to the sparkling infinity pool.
The best treat of all is that you won’t have to leave the comfort of Mardouw Country House for dinner.
Enjoy tapas and cocktails before the 4 course gourmet dinner prepared by the in-house chef.

 DAY 6

Awake to the tranquility that Mardouw has to offer and go for a brief tour of the olive groves after breakfast.
Return to Cape Town via Route 62 – the longest wine route in the world.
Stop for lunch at Bourbon Street Restaurant in Robertson before you continue on the N1 Highway towards Cape Town.
