The magnificent Potato Camp overlooks an expanse of narrow channels and low set reed islands teeming with game with the mighty Zambezi escarpment as the backdrop.
The African contemporary architectural design of Potato Bush Camp perfectly balances the raw structural integrity and natural beauty of solid Zambian Rosewood and dramatically compliments the use of traditional canvas. 

Each of the luxury tents at Potato Bush Camp in Zambia is made of canvas and rosewood and has a large deck, private plunge pool and both indoor and outdoor showers to allow guests to really make the most of the superb surroundings.
In the family tent there are two double rooms, making Potato Bush Camp perfect for family safari holidays.
Both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms and the tent itself has its own perfect deck, complete with two-person hammock and plunge pool where guests can relax and enjoy each other’s company in between safari activities.
Each tent at Potato Camp can access the communal areas by raised timber boardwalks. 

The Lower Zambezi National Park is one of Zambia’s premier wildlife areas with abundant bird and animal life.
Located on the banks of the beautiful, clear Zambezi River and bordered on the northern side by the Muchinga escarpment, the park has some exceptionally picturesque scenery.
The Zambabwean World Heritage Site, Mana Pools Reserve, situated on the opposite bank forming a natural Transfrontier park and creating a large sanctuary for wildlife.
Abundant game is always seen on the valley floor and along the river offering fantastic land and water based game viewing opportunities.
The park is host to large herds of elephant and healthy populations of lion, leopard, jackal, hyena, hippo, buffalo, zebra, waterbuck and many other antelope species.

The Lower Zambezi National Park is also an important birding area. Over 300 species of birds can be found in this area close to Potato Bush Camp.
In addition to offering superb game drives and walking safaris, Potato Bush Camp provides the opportunity to make the most of the Zambezi River through activities such as canoeing, scenic boat cruises and catch and release Tigerfish fishing. 

Potato Bush Camp only re-opened for guests in December 2013 and is totally refurbished.

A 50% deposit will secure your reservation with the balance due 1 month prior to your date of arrival.
