On this delightful golf holiday, we can structure the golf part of your trip to suit your individual needs as we are flexible with the courses that we book for you (we will make suggestions of course).

Suggested golf courses include De Zalze Golf Estate, Devon Vale Golf & Wine Estate, Stellenbosch Golf Club, Erinvale Golf Club, Pearl Valley Golf Estate & Spa, and Boschenmeer Golf Estate.

This golf package can be extended to include nights in Cape Town and/or a safari experience.

Day 1  | Stellenbosch

Arrive in Stellenbosch, your home for the next five nights.

After settling in you can perhaps take a stroll through the historic streets of Stellenbosch. Did you know that Stellenbosch is the second oldest town in South Africa, after Cape Town?

Should you require transfers from the airport or from Cape Town, you can contact Stellenbosch Taxis.

Day 2  | Stellenbosch

Game Day!

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel to put you in the right frame of mind for your first round of golf in the Cape Winelands.

Remember to focus on each stroke (don’t get distracted by the breathtaking scenery).

Once back at your accommodation, why not enjoy a refreshing swim or spa treatment to relax those weary legs?

Day 3  | Stellenbosch

Day at leisure!

We can suggest a sumptuous wine tour, you are in the heart of the Cape Winelands after all. If you enjoy wine and food pairings – perhaps the Mystery Tour is the experience that you would enjoy most.

Stellenbosch Wine Tours is our provider of choice and offers mouth-watering wine & food tours.

Alternatively, explore the beautiful streets of Stellenbosch before ending the day with a glass of wine or two at one of the various wine bars in Stellenbosch.

Day 4  | Stellenbosch

Game Day!

Today presents another opportunity to play a round of golf at one of South Africa’s finest golf courses.

Perhaps an afternoon visit to the beautiful Franschhoek Valley will be on order after your round of golf.

Franschhoek is known as the Gourmet Capital of South Africa and there are a multitude of restaurants and wine farms to explore.

Alternatively, explore the beautiful streets of Stellenbosch before ending the day with a glass of wine or two at one of the various wine bars in Stellenbosch.

Day 5  | Stellenbosch

Your last day in Stellenbosch.

Most decisions in life are easy, but not today – today you have to choose between another round of golf or another day at leisure exploring the magnificent Cape Winelands.

Stellenbosch, Franschhoek or Paarl?

What about a private driver to take you to see some of the special places in the greater wine regions?

Whatever your decision today we will assist in making it a special day.

Day 6  | Hermanus

After mid-morning departure from Stellenbosch, you will arrive in the beautiful coastal town of Hermanus after a 2-hour scenic drive.

Another difficult decision stands before you today – a round of golf or relaxing on a beautiful white, sandy beach next to the sparkling, crisp ocean?

Did you know that Hermanus is known as the best land-based whale watching (seasonal, May – October) location?

To all wine lovers – Hermanus is home to some of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines in South Africa. If you would like to try the wines, this would be the time and the place to do so.

Day 7  | Hermanus

Game Day!

Your choices are either the Hermanus Golf Club or Arabella Golf Club a short, scenic drive from Hermanus.

After your round of golf, it’s either time to hit the beach again or enjoy a crisp glass of wine in one of the local wine bars in Hermanus or visit the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.

If you happen to visit during the Whale Season (June to October) you might opt for a spot of whale watching – Hermanus offers the best land-based whale watching in the world.

Day 8  | Hermanus
